In class you show us a prezi that you made. It was on how Egypt was so cool and smart. Pyramids were a big part of Egypt back then and even today. Then made then thousands of years ago and they still survive today. They are just an amazing creation. They also made pictures out of rock by caving them. Then the bell rang.

In class we had a "pop" quiz it wasn't really pop because u gave us timme to study which was good. I got an 80% which isn't to bad because there were only 5 questions. Mini Project
Basic Features of Human Existence:
- · Language
- · Religion
- · Art
- · Technology
- · Farming
- · Family Life
- · Village Communities
Prehistory: long before ancient times
Around 3000 B.C. 1st civilizations and were
·
Mesopotamia
·
Egypt
In these civilizations there appeared complex
·
social and
·
economical structures
·
effective
and
·
lasting government
·
writing
systems capable of expressing any thought
·
compelling religious beliefs
·
impressive scientific and technical
achievements
·
sophisticated
literacy and
·
artistic styles.
The achievements of
these societies started to spread to other societies.
For
a society to learn the achievements of
a civilization they had to
- · be wealthy enough to be worth trading with
- · conquering
In 1200 B.C there
came into existence an international region of civilization
- · with many local versions of Mesopotamian
- · Egyptian traditions.
Asia, Africa influenced both western , non-western
- · Complex social
- · Government
- · Expressing thoughts scientific and
- · Technical achievement
- · sophisticated literary and artistic styles
Civilization is very recent and the first human like species
appeared about 2.5 million years ago.
I think that my notes say that there is more than just geographical
lucky involved. My text book said that
the basic features of human existence are Language, Religion, Art, Technology, Farming,
Family Life , Village Communities. I
guess at first you could say that its geographical lucky but after thousands of
years later to the present, they could be a more of a devolved country now if
they wanted to. They could make money off
the gold mines to get a more civilized country, but the people of Papua New Guinea
like their life style.

First blog for west civ.
The second day of west civ was just an introductory day. We got our text books yesterday and I'm 13-40 I think. We have a really big class this semester and I know a lot of people. This going to be a good semester. I like having a text book with the course and it feels like the first day of school again :). I knew most of what you said but it was for the new people.
